available Rescue Cats
Please be patient! We currently have 7 rescue cats available, I will post more as soon as I am able - Nik
Waffles
Grey tabby female, approximately 4 - 5 years old, spayed.
Waffles has an old soul disposition, she is good with kids and other animals but would probably do better in a single or limited/quiet pet home where she can sit with her owner but not be overly bothered.
Waffles, aka Frostbite was found laying abandoned and frozen on a gravel road. She had frostbite on her toes and rear end but was successfully vetted ($400) and fully recovered.
Currently fostered with Hartspride Australian Shepherds where her recovery story is heavily documented.
Knight
Bombay black male, approximately 3 - 4 years old, neutered.
Knight is an indoor only semi feral cat. He is no problem in the house at all and is not aggressive but he can't be easily touched or approached. Loves dogs and gets along well with other cats.
Knight was trapped after living a feral winter. He has had a severe bladder blockage but was successfully vetted ($2800) and fully recovered, no issues since.
Currently fostered with Hartspride Australian Shepherds where his recovery story is heavily documented.
Simba
Orange dilute longhair Maine Coon mix male, approximately 3 years old, neutered.
Simba is an indoor / outdoor (supervised only) cat. He will jump on counters, very social, gets along well with other dogs and cats.
Simba was rescued as a very tiny kitten (barely weaned) off of a highway after a car drove over him and didn't stop. He had a very bad cold that has lead to life long raspy breathing and sneezing fits that is largely managed with dust free walnut litter and an airpuifier in our shop. He has no survival skills so would do best as an indoor cat.
Simba celebrated 1 year FIP free this past January after being given only 2 weeks to live. He was vetted for 12 weeks and passed a blood test ($1600) confirming his full recovery, no issues since.
Currently fostered with Hartspride Australian Shepherds where his recovery story is heavily documented.
